It is with great sadness that the family of Kerry Ross announce his passing, surrounded by family, on 10 August 2021 at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 66.
Kerry was born on 15 September 1954 and lived his life in Lower Newcastle, NB. Survived by his wife Rose-Marie (Rousselle), son Steven (Laura Ross), daughter Vanessa (Daniel MacGregor) and 4 grandchildren. Kerry's kind and selfless devotion to his family was indescribable and will be missed. Kerry also leaves behind his sister Wanda (Smith), and was pre-deceased by his parents Walter and Theresa, two brothers Kevin (Bev Ross) and Dale, and brother-in-law Edwin Smith.
As a business owner for over 25 years, Kerry loved the Miramichi and surrounding area. When he wasn't spending time with family, he would often be found on the water helping friends within the fishing industry, a true passion that provided him comfort and relaxation. He was an avid outdoorsman and was blessed to have many hunting experiences with his family and friends across the province of NB.
Kerry was a man of faith, and community. Much of his time was spent ensuring the parish of St Peter's and St Paul's Church of Bartibog NB was supported, with his wife Rose-Marie by his side. Aside from son, father, and husband, and perhaps one of the greatest roles he filled, was grandfather to his four grandchildren Hudson, Norah, Elliott, and Amelia. In 5 short years, they received more love, quality moments, and cherished memories than many do in an entire lifetime.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A private funeral and burial will take place at Saints Peter and Paul on August 19th.
The family would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations towards pancreatic cancer research can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation at https://thepmcf.ca/why-give/
