Sheldon Guy Jardine McIntyre of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away suddenly in Carman, Manitoba on July 2nd of 2021, at the age of 31.

Born in Miramichi on December 10th of 1989 he was the son of Kelly (Ray Bastrache) Jardine and Guy McIntyre; and the stepson of Lisa McIntyre.

He is survived by three children, Cayden and Macayla McIntyre, and Jordyn McIntyre; two sisters, Shelby (Nick) Rakus and Taylor McIntyre; three brothers,Chad, Dustin and Dylan McIntyre; nephew, Parker MacCallum; and niece, Jazmyn McIntyre.

He will be deeply missed by his maternal grandmother, Anna Jardine; paternal grandmother, Antoinette McIntyre; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Sheldon is remembered for his love of family and charismatic personality. He had beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous long eyelashes, a booming smile, and a playful heart. He loved playing hockey and spending time with younger cousins playing basketball. Also, he loved music, and his family smiles when remembering how he would entertain them with his guitar playing Achy Breaky Heart in his early years. All of this is what addiction masks, but family remember and know.

Sheldon wanted so hard to be the best father, son, and brother. Even up until his passing, he was committed to doing better for his children. Despite the love and support of his family to help Sheldon recover from his struggle with addiction, drugs took a devastating toll by ultimately resulting in his accidental loss of life due to an overdose. Addiction hides in the faces of everyday people all around us. Sheldon was a great heart and aspired to have a better future for himself and his family. He was a gift that his family lost and never can replace.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his mother, Kelly Jardine, in his children's trust; Cayden, Macayla and Jordyn.
