Althea Joan Kelly, 91, of Miramichi, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Miramichi NB, she was the daughter of the late Eva May Johnstone (MacDonald), and Harold Johnstone.
Althea Joan Kelly is survived by her sister, Bessie Ronan of Oshawa Ontario; her daughter, Nancy Maguire (Arleigh Maguire) of Montague PEI; sons: Arthur Kelly (Brenda Kelly) of Alliston Ontario, and Bobby Kelly (Rosemary Kelly) of Quispamsis NB; Granddaughters: Kim Dumas, Shawna Kelly, Melissa Maguire, and Jamie Kelly; and Grandsons: Danny McCullum, Jason Maguire, and Jesse Kelly.
Althea is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Kelly, and son, Harold Kelly. Brothers: Murray Johnstone, Bob Johnstone, and Don Johnstone; and sister Beryl Johnstone.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 26 2021, at 11:00am, at Saint Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church in Loggieville NB, with Father Paul Doucet officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
