Margaret Ellen Matchett, passed away January 29 2021, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.
Margaret is survived by her two sons: Merrill Jr, and John Matchett; a sister- Mary Cripps (Robert Manuel); a brother- Charles Spray (Rose Spray), as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, William Spray Sr, and Alicia Fairman; her husband- Merrill Sr; three daughters: Heather, Sharon, and Shelley; Siblings: William (Bill) Spray, David Spray, Jean Arsenault, Helen Spray, and Patricia Arnold.
A former nurse, and long time resident of Retirement Miramichi, Margaret was an active member of her community. She enjoyed her time spent with friends playing cards, darts, and bowling.
She had a strong connection to Saint Mary's Anglican Church where a funeral service will be held at a later date.
