Rina Manuel November 4, 1940- January 24, 2021
It is with broken hearts that the family of Rina Manuel, age 80, announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
She was born on November 4, 1940 in Baie Ste-Anne, and was the daughter of the late George and Obéline (Mazerolle) Mazerolle.
Rina was a devoted first grade teacher for 34 years, and cherished the memories of all of her students.
Rina is survived by her husband Yvon of 58 years, daughter Micheline of Tracadie, son Colin (Charline) of Baie Ste-Anne; grandchildren: Jolène (Michaël), Josée, Miguel (Kelly), Charline’s son Jérémie Robichaud, and granddaughter Savannah Allain; brothers: Hubert (Yvette), Roddy (Gail), Léo (Mary); sisters: Argentine Richard (deceased Gérald), Edna Demers (deceased Armand), Maria (Chris) Brown, Edith Thériault (deceased Paul), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Rina is predeceased by her brothers: Nicolas, Georges, and Vilbon; sisters: Éloïse Comeau, Aline Blackwood, and infant sisters Enlevine, and Stella.
There will be no visitation, and funeral arrangements will be made later in the summer.
