Mary Margaret Claire Woods

The death of Mary Margaret Claire Woods (Conroy) of Miramichi, NB, occurred suddenly at her residence on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the age of 82. Born in Chatham, NB, Mary was the daughter of the late Gertrude (MacDonald) and Alexander Conroy.

Mary worked as a Registered Nursing Assistant at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and was a homemaker.

Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ken; her daughter Natalie (EJ McNeil) of Miramichi, NB; she was a very loving Nanny to her 2 grandsons who she loved beyond measure, Alexander and Benjamin Daigle; one sister, Theresa Reynolds of Miramichi, NB; two brothers Clarence Conroy and Tom Conroy both of Miramichi, NB.

Mary is predeceased by three brothers: Terry Conroy, Raymond Conroy and Frank Conroy.

As per Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private, interment gathering for family and friends will take place at a later date.

In Mary’s memory, a donation may be made to the Sandra Conroy Memorial Scholarship.

Arrangements were under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue.
