Richard Carroll

Richard Joseph Carroll, of Baie Ste Anne, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, November 18 2019 at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Escuminac NB, Richard was the son of the late James and Nathalie (Robichaud) Carroll.
Richard was a truck driver by profession, and was employed by Keltic Transportation for the past 13 years. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed playing cards.
Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine (Manuel) Carroll; daughter, Stacy; son, Ryan (Ashley) of Baie Ste Anne; two grandchildren, Evan and Erin. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jaxon. Richard is also survived by his sisters: Karen Martin (Arthur) of Hardwicke, Rosemay Manuel (Hilaire) of Baie Ste Anne, and Louise O’Neill of Orleans, Ontario; brothers: Elmer Carroll (Donna) of Baie Ste Anne, Edward Carroll (Maria) of Napan, Thomas Carroll (Rejeanne) of Edmonton, Alberta, Bernard Carroll and Michael Jimmo, of Ottawa, Ontario; sister-in-law, Jean Carroll of Ottawa, Ontario; brother-in-law, Ade Martin of Miramichi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and grandson, Richard was predeceased by his brother James Carroll Jr; sisters, Beatrice Carroll, Michaelina Jimmo, Margaret (Jimmo) Martin, and brother-in-law, Melvin O'Neill.
Visitation will take place Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Baie Ste Anne slumberoom from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, November 25 from Saint Anne’s Roman Catholic Church at 3:30 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, in Richard’s memory, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
