Carmel Theresa Clark

Carmel Theresa (Mahoney) Clark, wife of the late Robert A Clark, of Ferry Road NB, passed away at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 87.
She was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Brown) Mahoney. She was a homemaker and a Registered Nursing Assistant. She worked a number of years at local grocers before she married. She was a member of St Samuel's Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown.
Carmel is survived by her five sons: Tim of Quispamsis NB, Randy (Andrea) of Red Bank, Paul (Barb) of Elmsdale NS, Chris (Kim) of Millerton, and Jeff (Allana) of Sillikers. Her sister Connie Bourque (Real) of Bathurst. Grandchildren: Sarah (James), Penelope (Ryan), Casey Somers (Cole), Mackenzie (Katie), Michael, Jennifer, Joshua and Alisha. Also great-grandchildren: Phillip, Nora, Jase and Jackson, as well as many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Olive Savoy.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters: Monica, Catherine and Bernice, also brothers: Michael, William, Benedict, Ralph, Clarence (Bud), Donald and Aloysius.
Visitation will take place Wednesday October 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Maher's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 1:00pm at St Samuel's Church, Douglastown with Fr Antonio Reyes officiating. Burial will follow at St Samuel's cemetery.
In her memory, donations to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home would be appreciated, whose staff provided exceptional care for her both within the nursing home and in the seniors day care program.
