Connie Johnston

Connie Johnston, wife of the late Lloyd Johnston, of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday morning, October 7, 2019, at the age of 86, surrounded by her family.
Born in Oak Point NB, on October 7, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Ida (Hay) Bowie.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her three daughters: Isabel (Danny) Carroll, Cathy (Walter) Delong, and Ruth (Wade) MacDonald, all of Miramichi; three sons: Blake Johnston, Austin (Sheila) Johnston, Ian (Doris) Johnston, as well as 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by six sisters: Muriel McLaughlin, Gertrude Wallace, Hazel Moran, Grace Ewing, Theresa Bowie, Winnifred Scott, and four brothers: Raymond Bowie, Guy Bowie, Alvin Bowie, Edward Bowie and Ian Bowie.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Michael's Basilica on Thursday, October 10th 2019, at 11:00am.
