James Howard "Sonny" Usher

James Howard "Sonny" Usher, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 7 2019 at the home of his nephew, Donnie (wife Claire), who both cared for Sonny this past year.
Born December 25 1938,in Halifax NS, he was the son of the late John and Kathleen (Young) Usher.
Sonny served many years with the Canadian Armed Forces and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #10, Miramichi. He was also an avid sports fan, having played ball and curled in his younger years, he was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Sonny is survived by his sister, Patsy Usher of Sackville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, (Lynn) Hamlyn Graham Usher; as well as by brothers, Jack Usher and Donald Usher Sr, sisters; Marie Loveridge, Shirley Sergant and Carol Usher.
A service of remembrance celebrating Jim's life will be held at St Mary's ?Anglican church (Wellington/King St), Wednesday August 21st at 11:00am.
