Lauretta Mary (Woods) Neally, wife of the late George Joseph Neally, of Miramichi, NB, passed away on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019, at the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home in Miramichi, NB, at the age of 93.
Born on April 8th, 1926, in South Nelson, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Helena (Sullivan) Woods.
Lauretta Mary (Woods) Neally is survived by her children; Patsy Ashe (Late Willard) of Miramichi, NB, Jean Galley (late Carl) of Miramichi, NB, George Neally (Lorna) of Hardwicke, NB, Carmel Neally of Miramichi, and David Neally (Wendy) of Miramichi, NB, One brother; Raymond (Agatha) Woods of Nelson, NB, Ten grandchildren; Jeremy, Jason, Roger, Jonathan, Katie, Holly, Aaron, David, Brian and Francis, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Lauretta Mary (Woods) Neally is predeceased by six brothers; Edward, Patrick, Danny, Hubert, Armand and Dennis, as well as three sisters; Sister Kathleen Woods, Elizabeth Howe (James) of Scarborough Ontario, and Anne Doucette (Raymond) of Alberton, P.E.I, and by infant granddaughter Amber Neally.
Lauretta Mary (Woods) Neally is resting on Friday, July 19th, 2019, at Maher's Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi, NB, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20th, 2019, at Saint Michael's Basilica at 11:00 am with Father Arockia Dass Chinnappan, HGN officiating.
Burial will follow at Saint Michael's Basilica Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
