Joseph Abel Lirette, 74, of Baie Sainte-Anne, N.B. passes away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
Born in Baie Sainte-Anne, N.B. the son of the late Edgar & Adelia (Martin) Lirette.
He is survived by his loving wife Edna (Martin) Lirette, daughters: Diane Lirette-Doucet (Yves) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Chantal Lirette -Thériault (Daniel) of Moncton, grandchildren Alex Doucet, Lise Doucet, Remi Thériault, and Miguel Thériault. and also by his sisters: Florentine Mersereau of Baie Sainte-Anne, Andrea Daigle (Fernand) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Marielle Lirette of Rogersville, Bertha Sippley (Antoine) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Elda Williston (Mark) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Rachel Lirette (Tony) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Gilberte Savoie of Baie Sainte-Anne, Rose-Marie Martin of Baie Sainte-Anne, brothers: Charles Lirette of Baie Sainte-Anne, Emilien Lirette (Jacqueline) of Baie Sainte-Anne, François Lirette (Jacqueline) of Baie Sainte-Anne and many Nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother Jean Lirette.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gerard Losier and the Extra Mural Program for the wonderful care provided during his illness.
Joseph Abel Lirette is resting at the Baie Sainte-Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte-Anne on Monday April 23, 2018 from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 2 pm until 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte-Anne, N.B. with Fr Mario Doyle officiating .
