Miss Elizabeth "Winnifred" Doherty, 92, of Lower Newcastle, NB., passed away o n Friday October 20, 2017 at the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home.
Born in Chatham, NB., the daughter of the late Charles & Blanch (Innis) Doherty. Winnifred retired from Marven's Biscuits in Moncton.
She was the last surviving member of the immediate family.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles & Blanch (Innis) Doherty, one brother: Harold, sisters: Helena Doherty, Rita Douthwright, and brother in law Percy Douthwright.
Elizabeth "Winnifred" Doherty is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB., on Monday October 23, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 1pm from Maher's Funeral Home Chapel with Fr Leon Creamer officiating.
