Ralph Charles Taylor

Ralph Charles Taylor, 75, of Napan Bay, NB passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 8, 2017.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dorothy; daughter, Angie (Simon) Odamtten of Halifax, NS and son Raymond Taylor of Napan Bay, NB; grandchildren, DeAndre & Katherine Odamtten of Halifax, NS; two brothers, James Taylor of Napan Bay, NB and Gerald (Bernadine) Taylor of Pickering, ON; and five sisters, Greta (James) Russell of Napan, NB, Mary (William) O’Donnell of Glenwood, NB, Christina Carter of Napan, NB, Mabel (David) Landry of Douglastown, NB, and Betty (Denis) Sirois of Beaumont, AB; and many loving nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his parents James and Alice (MacDonald) Taylor; his brother Raymond Taylor; and, brother-in-law Robert Carter.

Ralph was a hard-working entrepreneur who enjoyed a challenge. Ralph loved big family gatherings that centered around the children. Ralph was also a true optimist who loved a good one-liner. Many heard him say “it’s going to be a good year for you”. Ralph was a kind soul with an easy smile who loved to laugh.


Ralph Charles Taylor is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi on Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 12, 2017 at 11am from ST Andrew's Roman Catholic Church Loggieville, with FR Charles Udeh officiating.
